I often find myself returning to The Gnostic Circle by Patrizia Norelli-Bachelet, a book that never ceases to amaze me with its profound insights. Her innovative vision of time combines a synthetic model of the zodiac with Sri Aurobindo’s philosophy, offering a forward-looking perspective on astrology rather than dwelling on its past. This approach challenges conventional ideas and inspires transformative thought. As a friend once said about her work, ‘It’s like having a guide who fearlessly pushes boundaries.’ Every reading leaves me in awe of her ability to weave such complexity into clarity.

    I didn’t even know this book existed—so thanks for dropping this intellectual bomb on my sleepy brain. From what I could catch before my neurons waved a white flag, it’s trying to map out the whole universe like a cosmic IKEA manual… except without the little man showing you where to sit.

    It says we’re all part of something big, and we just need to figure out where we belong. That’s nice. But my brain, which still struggles with elevator buttons, is already sweating.

    Still, I like the idea. It’s like the universe is a giant puzzle, and I’ve just realized I might be one of those edge pieces. Not quite sure where I fit, but I’m definitely part of the picture.

      Haha! Loved this… “still struggling with elevator buttons…” Patrizia builds on and synthesizes many other perspectives and practices — the enneagram, Theosophy, and Astrology for example — so many of her insights will be oddly familiar. Yet her particular contribution has to do with her Yoga, which is focused on the Individual (one part of the grand Triune the also includes the Cosmic (The Mother) and the Transcendent (Sri Aurobindo). Patrizia, or ‘Thea,’ as her students called her, contributed the missing piece of the “puzzle” which Aurobindo had masterfully assembled over his long life. ‘Thea’s’ contribution is all about solving the riddle of Time.

      Take your time… read through and check out AeonCentre’s website for incredible essays in the archives. If you are drawn to the work I believe you might connect with a teacher in the case you need/want more.

        Thanks for this kind reply. I still feel like a kid who walked into a big temple, looked at the ceiling, and forgot why he came in. But I’ll take your advice and walk around slowly. Maybe I’m not ready to solve Time, but I’d like to shake hands with it at least once. I’ll read more. And if anything clicks—or cracks—I’ll know who opened the door.
