In a sense the eclipse is merely a New Moon, but it’s no doubt a special kind of New Moon which aligns the Sun, Moon, and Earth at the same latitude. It happens 3 to 5 times a year on average and like other astrological phenomena these events come and go.

Remember the 2017 eclipse? The fanfare leading up to it was quite remarkable, but I think the 2024 eclipse has even that one beat. Fair, we are fast approaching the conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus on April 20, so it is not unusual to anticipate hype, exaggeration, and over sensationalism. Note too, Chiron is precisely conjunct the Nodal Axis, so it’s a curious observation, perhaps to witness healing that transpires as the light grows.

Eclipses do seem to coincide with National shifts and seem to affect leaders more than they appear to zero in on individuals. Yet it is a sign of the times that the ego driven rush of things, following our instincts, is to inquire in a panic, “what does the eclipse mean for me?”

Probably not much. But like every New Moon let this be a New Beginning, especially in Aries. Mark your past, and your present, all that you have struggled through, as a time of not being the person you needed to be. Let that all change! Focus on being who you need to be so that you become the person you ARE meant to be, the One who is emerging now in a new light, – to fully express your true Self.
