Pluto and Saturn correspond to fear. Pluto more specifically relates to one’s world view which is often born of defensiveness and sometimes reaction formation builds, accumulating personality resources to counter or compensate for the hidden anxieties driving the anxious behavior. Saturn is a bit more straightforward and coincides with areas of personal constraints and limitations.

Pluto in the ninth house fears not knowing. The defense mechanism is to project an all-knowing perspective that is often born of blunderbuss. Saturn in the second house will relate to a diminished sense of personal self-worth, either related to an actual dearth in income and assets, or else personal values being compromised.

To counter these positions as I’ve had to slowly learn to do and manage, begins with building real knowledge and to use it wisely, giving wise counsel and speaking from the heart. Keeping integrity with my personal values has helped tremendously because not betraying those values is priceless.
