I unwind after a demanding day by watching the New York Mets pitching staff wind up and throw strikes.
As a kid I was always a Yankees fan but over time became less interested in baseball as my passion for football overwhelmed almost everything else. Now, however, everything has flipped. I barely watch football anymore and the New York Mets have become one of my favorite pastimes to enjoy as a spectator.
I’m not sure why? Maybe it’s the sacred geometry and numerological significant that is built into the game. But whatever it is, it sure is relaxing and this year more than most a pleasure to watch (so far).
