“She is so bright and glorious that you cannot look at her face or her garments for the splendor with which she shines. For she is terrible with the terror of the avenging lightning, and gentle with the goodness of the bright sun; and both her terror and her gentleness are incomprehensible to humans.”
~ Hildegard von Bingen

Not really a patriot, which today is a term that is probably too papa drunk for me to care. And especially not now that my big post was accidentally deleted.
The word “patriotic” originated in the 1650s from the French word patriotique or directly from the Late Latin patrioticus, which comes from the Greek patriotikos. The Greek term meant “of one’s fathers,” derived from patrios and patris, meaning “fatherland” and ultimately tracing back to pater, the Greek word for “father” (thank you etymonline.com
An excellent example of the false patriotism that is being used to manipulate, and to exploit the loyalty and pride of their followers can be found in the Táin Bó Cúailnge. It’s a worthwhile read and analog to today’s bizarre political upheavals.
The opposite of Patriotic may not be treasonous, but the Sacred Feminine.
