How to Start a Revolution

“Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is really an Old Mission. You are to start a revolution in the way people learn and discuss astrology.”

Saturn Stations

A powerful Saturn Station occurred on November 15 at 12♓︎42’ which marked the end of the apparent backward motion or retrograde movement of Saturn through Pisces. The idea here is that Saturnian themes turn around and powers associated with discipline, responsibility, and pragmatic strategies, come forward. So do the Adults in the Room, because what gains stature from this point on are the More Serious type people, the More Mature actors, not the people who sound and look like they just got up the “kids table.” Proposals being made carry more weight, and those making the proposals are willing to be held Accountable.

But Saturn is still in Pisces, and doesn’t leave the retrograde area until February 15, when it finally leaves the retrograde zone it entered last June on the 29th. The dominating news at the time was about Joe Biden’s disastrous debate performance.

Democrats and Biden didn’t handle the situation well at all, and have been held to account already by the results of the election 10 days before the station. Saturn represents fear. Perhaps Democrats feared putting up another candidate and tried to conceal their choice by denying and deflecting any commentary regarding Biden’s vulnerabilities (Pisces). Big mistake with Saturn Retrograde proffering a shift in governance. Rejecting that offer, to change, and be responsible meant too little too late by the time they got around to it.

This Saturn transit was no picnic for Trump either. But he had an easier hand since the change of governance that was in the water was much more to his advantage as the challenger. On the face of it, objectively looking at his own performance, he nearly sabotaged his effort and gave away his narrow victory with his bizarre antics and meandering rants. Such behavior doesn’t always happen to coincide with what an otherwise stabilizing planet, but here in Pisces Saturn is “under the influence” so to speak. Stabilizing is not a word we associate with Trump, and Saturn was square his Sun-Moon opposition from the 7th house – plus Uranus is in the vicinity of his Sun and rules the 6th house. Fair to say Trump had, and still has, his own problems.

We get what we ask for in politics and what this election probably ends up proving to the electorate is that we have simply traded one octogenarian with cognitive difficulties in for another. The GOP, like a used car salesman, may have just sold the nation a lemon (O.K. orange if you insist) but we just don’t know how far we’ll get from the lot before the issues that old cars have begin to show up. Issues we were told would not be a problem like inflation, immigration, crime, and war. All these issues are still on the table and astrologically likely to return, with a vengeance (Saturn’s retribution) to exact a price and hold people accountable.

Great! SMH! But what does this type of analysis mean for you? What good is the “astrology” in hindsight? On a national scale or on a personal level?

The mission to have an astrological discussion at a higher level I think needs to better appreciate the life being lived, your life, and for the astrologer to get outside themselves, outside of astrology in a sense, and in the words of my teacher, “know where you are on the circle.”

There are so many talented, knowledgeable, and skilled astrologers, but astrology as practiced today seems to be devolving into a contest between Pig Herders. Not unlike the power struggle playing out in politics today which is really a subplot describing a change of the ages, a seasonal shift on the spectrum of aeons. Not knowing this lends hubris and deception to politicians vying for the highest office in the land for sure, but also to astrologers who are eager to help guide a client on matters smaller in scale perhaps but massive in personal significance.

For example:

5 Most Impactful Life Events
  • Death of a loved one
  • Divorce, Marital Separation
  • Jail Time
  • Death of a close family member
  • Personal Injury or Illness

Even knowing that we are on the cusp of a New Age, astrologers point to the big cycles of the outer planets to try and ascertain where we are on the circle. This won’t work because Time’s structure is more vast and comprehensive than first meets the eye. We need another tool.

I accept this mission and will unveil a tool that will level the playing field for seekers to build a working knowledge of astrology that will serve them no matter what their profession is, and in that effort, get away from talking endlessly about astrology, and to instead get to the real work — talking more about lifeYour life!
